New Old Pilot

A German collector has discovered the long-lost Star Trek pilot from 1965. It'll be released with the original series' season 3 Blu-ray on 12/15. The alternate pilot features a three-act storyline, new opening theme, and different opening monologue: "...But now a new task. A probe out into where no man has gone before..."

The release date for 2009's Star Trek DVD is November 17, just in time for Christmas. Also available in Blu-Ray, watch for it in our DVD section.
